The Role

We are currently seeking an Intermediate Auditor to join our growing team. This opportunity would suit perfectly someone who has recently finished the Graduate year or has a year as an intermediate under the belt already and is looking to take that next step forward in the Audit career.

You will continue your development in learning an end-to-end Audit process and be given the opportunity to work on a diverse range of clients while you learn from a number of Managers and leaders within the team.

As an Intermediate Auditor, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and completing audit and assurance engagements
  • Reconciling client accounts and accounting records
  • Preparing cashflow statements as well as reviewing financial statements for small clients
  • Testing and evaluating the design and interpretation of relevant controls within a business, and the operating effectiveness of those controls
  • Drafting management letters for smaller audit clients
  • Preparing statutory financial reports from a client’s trial balance
  • Applying Accounting and Auditing Standards in relation to audit issues identified

As our new team member, you will have:

  • Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or similar undergraduate degree
  • Previous experience in an Accounting firm in Audit
  • Strong communications skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to build and maintain trust, rapport and relationships
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
